The Story of our Field Jacket

March 20, 2025

Our waxed field jacket came from a desire to create a complicated jacket with all the bells and whistles you would could possibly want. We made made the back shoulder region more full to allow for easier range of motion, while the (removable) belt sinches down the waist to create a distinct silhouette. We added a (removable) storm flap to cover the exposed front buttons on the jacket in order to protect the wearer from the elements completely. The result is a jacket that excels in its purpose (keeping you dry), while also giving flexibility in how you style it.

Hand Cut Fabric

Every inch of fabric is cut by hand, one pattern at a time from prewashed fabric to reduce shrinkage.

Straight-Stitch Construction

Every seam is assembled using a straight-stitch machine for a clean, strong finish. This method offers greater control and precision at every stage of construction.

Serged Edge Reinforcement

All internal seams are serged to prevent fraying and add long-term durability, without compromising the garment’s structure or feel.

This isn’t fast fashion. It’s a garment built with purpose — one at a time, by hand, using materials that last. When you wear it, you carry the time, care, and craft that went into making it.
