Why It's Built This Way
Every jacket begins as individual pieces of fabric on my cutting table and is sewn from start to finish in my Florida workshop. Making jackets this way takes longer, but it allows me to focus on the details, materials, and construction that simply aren't possible on a production line.
Design
Crafted from 13.5oz selvedge denim, this jacket pays tribute to the timeless silhouette of the iconic Lee Rider jacket. Designed with a traditional unlined construction, it offers the durability and character of heavyweight denim while remaining breathable enough for warmer months. Every detail stays true to the heritage of classic American denim jackets, creating a piece that will soften, fade, and develop a unique patina with years of wear. Built to be worn often and kept for decades.
Natural Fabrics
Constructed entirely from natural fabrics, the jacket is cut from 13.5oz 100% cotton selvedge denim woven on traditional 30-inch shuttle looms. The narrow-width construction creates authentic self-finished selvedge edges, which are incorporated into the front facings so the clean, finished edge is revealed where the front placket folds to the inside.
The collar is crafted from 100% cotton corduroy, adding a soft contrast in both texture and appearance.
